The most ridiculous thing admins have done was quarantine /r/waterniggas. A subreddit about drinking more water. It was quarantined simply because of the name. Quarantines aren't bans, sure, but they're certainly an indicator.

I think the most ridiculous ban recently was /r/StrangeStatistics. That one will stick with me.

It was literally just posts of peer-reviewed academic, crime, and government statistics, but because the Powers That Be didn't like their politically-incorrect implications, they banned the subreddit for "being unmoderated". And then, when users tried to form a new, moderated sub, Reddit banned it for being an attempt to create a new sub to replace a banned sub. Total Catch-22 logic.

The thing is, you can't run a discussion site with that kind of heavy-handed censorship. You can feel the life ebbing out of that place. Good posters are looking for new places like Notabug and other platforms where discussion is looser and freer. The writing is on the wall for Reddit.

Hang-on. So in your world; Brave, the commercial interest which developed a privacy focused browser with remuneration for providing information to advertisers is "the left"?

Huh? Right is for free expression and privacy, left is for rules for everything you say. This isn't complicated.

Trump knows that Europe did ads to get Obama elected, so now they Super PAC does ads about what kind of candidate shares their message. You can't let Europe lean to the left, they won't support you in a war or whatever.
